I specialize in Dry Curly Cuts & dimensional color designed specifically for curls. As a Redken Certified Master Colorist and former Redken Educator, I focus on grey coverage, glossing, and balayage that enhance curl pattern and long-term hair health.
I am a Jacksonville native that enjoys going on adventures and living life to the fullest. I'm a huge supporter of the arts & music community here in Jax. and love sharing the best local restaurants, places to visit, and events happening in the area.
Married to my best friend of 25 years, together we've raised three children. When I'm not helping people discover their inner curl, you'll find me on the dance floor or camping with friends and family.
"My favorite thing about being a hair stylist is helping people to love their hair. Curly hair doesn't have to feel like a chore. It can be simple.
When I was growing up I had no clue my hair was curly. I was convinced it was "bad hair". I brushed it constantly, hoping it would stay small instead of exploding into a frizzy mess.

No one explained what my curls actually needed. Stylists either blew it straight or sent me home with wet hair — and I was left to figure it out alone. I started to believe my hair was the problem.

In 2002, I trained in New York City in the Deva Cut technique. I loved cutting curls dry and honoring their natural shape. But once I came back home, I realized something important: NYC has soft water. Between humid climates and hard water, the products just didn't perform the same in real life.​
​
That's when I shifted my focus. I began researching formulations that actually work in humid climates and with hard and soft water — including hypoallergenic, fragrance-free options that are safe for allergies and sensitivities.

All of that shaped how I work today.
