I specialize in Dry Curly Cuts & a No-fuss routine for curls of all kinds.
I am a Jacksonville native that enjoys going on adventures and living life to the fullest. Being the concierge for Jacksonville and sharing the best spots to see live music, enjoy local art and delicious food are a passion of mine.
I am married to my best friend of 25 years and we have three teenage boys together.
When I'm not sculpting hair you will find me out on the dancefloor or camping with friends and family.

Growing up I thought I had ugly, frizzy hair. I had no idea that it was curly. I would constantly brush my hair, praying for it to stay small and not explode into a gigantic frizzy mess. Perhaps you can relate?
I was just so sick and tired of not knowing how to handle my hair.
Stylists never offered styling advice, instead they would blow dry my hair straight, which is so frustrating. I needed help and no one seemed to have any advice on curly hair.
In 2002 I found a salon in NYC teaching a dry cutting technique called a DevaCut. I got certified and have been researching curls and how they react when coloring or cutting them ever since. Dry cutting curls and waves allows you to see which areas are curlier or wavier than others. This method gives a long lasting shape without any unwanted shrinkage.
Over the years I've developed my own way of cutting & styling curls. I enjoy using curly products from multiple different brands and encourage guests to share their experiences with products. After 18 years of curl confessions I have tons of awesome advice to share.
